We don’t believe in just ‘exercise’: at Parkour Generations we train you the way your primal body is meant to be trained – through adaptation, practical movement skill acquisition and raw physicality. Our approach with movement is designed to increase the capacity of not just our muscles and joints, but our brain and nervous system as well. A more robust system means fewer injuries, more freedom of movement and greater enjoyment of life. We think that training should enhance performance of the governing system and, subsequently, one’s health; and so we are inevitably drawn to the task-based training of parkour that generates positive adaptations in balance, coordination, speed, power and motor control.

We see good training as a continuum; an integrated process that allows you to focus on whatever aspects you need to raise up at any given time in your personal development. Building a solid capacity for work via functional strength and conditioning underpins the requisite abilities to acquire and practice movement skills, which then can be applied in response to different challenges, tasks and environments. Variability of movement is health, which is why we offer a range of classes and training modalities for you to build a broad base from which to evolve towards your peak.
