Member Shout Out – Shannon Martin
7 January 2021
Shannon has been a member with us since last summer and in that time she’s gone from a quiet and reserved individual to a regular practitioner who brings massive enthusiasm, infectious positivity and an encouraging energy to be around.
She consistently works hard to overcome her fears, never truly backing down from a challenge but also understanding when to give her brain and body time to breathe and think. Her regular practice and the determination she brings to class has seen her movement skills and confidence expanding week-on-week.
We’re grateful to have you and that winning smile within our community, Shannon. Thank you!

In Part 3 we’re focusing on the shoulder girdle, which will encompass issues of the shoulders themselves, the scapular, neck and upper limbs. Modern living sees us often in kyphotic positions for hours at a time; bent over desks, steering wheels and mobile phone screens. Add to this that most of us don’t know how to breathe properly and are therefore elevating the traps around 20,000 times per day and it’s no wonder that our shoulders get tight and blocked up. Here’s where we fix things!
