Coach In Focus – Arturo Vigil
6 January 2021
To be a better coach you must become a better student; so we’re always encouraging further education and constant updating of our coaching team’s knowledge and skills. Very few exemplify that better than Arturo Vigil.
To give you a small insight into his journey, Coach Arturo Vigil has spent the past year focusing on developing deeper inter-personal skills and understanding the psychology of fear. Many of you will know the difference between having a healthy understanding of one’s own physical limits and the debilitating mental blocks that can prevent natural growth and improvement in movement.
Arty has been developing a process for practitioners to overcome these anxieties in a safe but efficient manner, enabling them to grapple with discomfort, which is a very important part of our practice. He’s also studying child developmental psychology in order to better encourage growth whilst engaging our young movers to challenge themselves. Arturo leads Parkour and Calisthenics Classes for adults and is a regular feature at our Parkour School for young movers. Come train with him!
