Eating for health, fitness and performance
01 March 2021
Passionate about your training? Then you need to get serious about your nutrition too! Failing to appropriately fuel your training and recovery alike, can slow your progress, increase chances of illness and wear you down over time. But these days the fitness space is so overloaded with information on fad diets, weight-loss tricks and overnight ‘transformation’ photos, that it can be hard to tell what the healthy approach might be to reaching your goals. Well here’s your chance to start from scratch and understand the very basics, through to more advanced level nutritional know-how.
Join us for our Nutrition 101 Workshop this month, where Coach Charlotte will be sharing her knowledge on simple protocols for healthy eating, understanding nutrient timing, eating to support your gut microbiome and what natural supplements can better sustain performance vs. general health.
Wellness starts at home, with the foods you prepare to nourish mind, body and soul. Every moment of the day the quality of our health, our performance and even our headspace is determined by how we’re fuelling ourselves. So that’s why we’ve put together this helpful and interesting workshop to help you understand what’s right for you and your life!
Following on from the presentation there will be a Q&A session, so you can ask all those burning questions you’ve wanted answering.

In Part 3 we’re focusing on the shoulder girdle, which will encompass issues of the shoulders themselves, the scapular, neck and upper limbs. Modern living sees us often in kyphotic positions for hours at a time; bent over desks, steering wheels and mobile phone screens. Add to this that most of us don’t know how to breathe properly and are therefore elevating the traps around 20,000 times per day and it’s no wonder that our shoulders get tight and blocked up. Here’s where we fix things!
