RENDEZVOUS INTERNATIONAL PARKOUR GATHERING 2023
RDVXV – RDV REBORN
Our training, much like the world, goes through phases. Cycles. Periods of expansion and contraction interspersed with times of consolidation. A continual process of being reborn. This is healthy, and effective. Growth usually follows a time of stabilisation after upheaval. Physical practice and the learning of new skills is no exception to this, as we struggle to grasp a new skill or level of fitness then consolidate it to create a stable platform upon which we wait for the next catalyst that provokes us to move forwards once again. Those catalyst moments are vital: experiences that inspire and motivate us to take the next step, to reach higher and expand our potential. To refresh our approach, to renew our efforts, to rethink what we know. To be reborn.

BULLETPROOF BODY: Part 3
/0 Comments/in Blog, Events /by Charlotte Miles29th July 2023
REPUBLIC | LONDON
In Part 3 we’re focusing on the shoulder girdle, which will encompass issues of the shoulders themselves, the scapular, neck and upper limbs. Modern living sees us often in kyphotic positions for hours at a time; bent over desks, steering wheels and mobile phone screens. Add to this that most of us don’t know how to breathe properly and are therefore elevating the traps around 20,000 times per day and it’s no wonder that our shoulders get tight and blocked up. Here’s where we fix things!
