Our extracurricular School Programmes offer an exciting alternative to traditional sports and a fantastic way to develop physical literacy, resilience, self-efficacy and creativity in young people of all ages.
The movement skills we teach include vaulting, balancing, rolling, climbing, jumping, and more, with classes revolving around a task-oriented practice and based on a constraints-led model of motor skill acquisition.
Parkour For Schools delivers a curriculum incorporating the physical techniques and skills of parkour as well as important concepts that are crucial to youth development, including resilience, problem solving and teamwork.
We utilize whatever space and equipment is available, indoor and out, to make sure each class is engaging and educational. The classes are fun, energetic, and constantly creative, and encourage everyone to fulfil their true potential.
The curriculum revolves around each pupil completing a Progress Workbook throughout the year, confirming the achievement of vital physical, psychological and pro-social skills.
Our instructors are some of the most experienced parkour practitioners and instructors in the world. They are all DBS checked and possess the gold standard of parkour coaching, the internationally recognised ADAPT qualification.
All instructors are fully insured to teach the sport, and are trained in First Aid and Child Safeguarding.
All activities are carried out under the rigorous supervision of these expert individuals, who maintain an attitude of dynamic risk management at all times.
